Approved Training
Level 3NOTE: You must attend or book places on Bach Centre-approved level 1 and level 2 courses before you apply to attend a level 3 course.
Level 3 courses are for practising therapists (e.g. aromatherapists, reflexologists, counsellors, homoeopaths, herbalists, doctors, nurses) who wish to incorporate the remedies into their work as part of their overall healing programme. They are also open to people who are not practising at the moment but intend to set up a practice in the future.
All approved level 3 courses include classroom teaching and private study done in the student's own time. Students have to complete written work that may include an exam, a reflective journal and essays. Finally, students must complete a number of case studies which are assessed by the Bach Centre or individuals appointed by the Centre for this purpose.
On satisfactory completion of a level 3 course students have an opportunity to apply for inclusion on the Bach Foundation International Register of Practitioners maintained by the Centre. Anybody who has attended a level 2 course can attend a level 3, but registration and the issue of the accompanying Certificate are discretionary and conditional on your agreeing to work under the Bach Foundation Code of Practice. The Code represents a commitment to respect the completeness and simplicity of Dr Bach's work. In particular, registered practitioners undertake only to select remedies using the simple consultation methods used by Dr Bach, and to present the 38 remedies as a complete system.
Any student on an approved level 3 course is eligible to apply for student registration with the Bach Centre, which can enhance your learning experience.
The Centre's own level 3 course is constructed in three parts:
In total the course will take about 6 months to complete.

Bach International Education Programme (BIEP) training courses are taught by Bach Foundation Registered Practitioners. The courses follow the same general format as the Bach Centre's own course, and take about 6 months to complete. They are taught in a variety of venues including retreats, hotels and conference centres.
BIEP courses have been developed by Nelsons, whose representatives in different parts of the world administer the courses. In the first instance contact your nearest regional coordinator who will be able to tell you what is available where you live:
Note that distributors and others may offer their own independent courses, as well as or instead of BIEP courses. These courses are only Bach Centre-approved if they carry the Bach Foundation logo to show they are Bach Centre-approved.
In some areas of the world the Dr Edward Bach Centre approves courses run by independent teachers or organisations. Independent approved courses take place in different venues, including local colleges and private premises. As with all approved level 3 courses, sucessful completion allows students to apply to joint the Bach Foundation International Register maintained by the Dr Edward Bach Centre.
You can contact the teachers direct to find out what is available.
